Once on the payment page you will have to option put in your account information to make a payment.

The amount due will automatically adjust with the transaction fee and then display an updated total due prior to submitting the payment.

 

**You may submit payments or partial payments AT ANY TIME. They will be credited to the current amount due or be credited to the account for the next billing cycle.**

 SERVICE CHARGE: This is a flat rate bill and will be sent regardless of whether or not a dwelling is vacant. It is based on the service provided to the dwelling and maintenance the on the water/sewer lines. You will receive a SERVICE charge for EACH unit within the dwelling as specified on the Village Tax Roll.

USAGE CHARGE: This bill is based on the number of thousand gallons of water that have been recorded by the meter as used and discharged into the sewer system. Meters are read four times a year. All water passing through a meter will be charged for, whether wasted or used.

Sewer debt repayment: $65 per quarterly bill, pays back debt that the Village has incurred because of mandated project compliances that were required for the Village to complete.

All bills will have a 10% penalty assessed if payment is not received by the due date specified on the bill.

** In total, the property owner has 30 (thirty) days after the initial due date to pay off any balance due (with penalty) before water is shut off. If a water/sewer bill is not paid 30 (thirty) days after it is due, the village will shut off water to the residence.

This incurs a $30.00 shut-off fee for the property owner. Water service will be restored to the residence when the balance is paid in full. This balance includes the $30.00 shut-off fee, as well as a $30.00 turn-on fee.**

Village Code States:
§210-27. Establishment of water rates; late charges:
B. Late charges. In the event that a consumer shall not pay a water bill within thirty (30) days from the due date of said bill, an additional ten percent (10%) of the total charge shall be added to the amount due as a late charge.
§210-28. Terms of payment:
•C. Nonpayment. If any water bill is not paid within thirty (30) days from the due date, the water shall be turned off.
•D. Billing. **Bills will be sent out to consumers, but **failure of any consumer to receive a bill promptly shall not excuse nonpayment of the same.**

*Payments for Water Bills & Village Taxes may be placed in the secured drop box slot located in the door of the Village Clerk’s Office. Your payment will be considered “on time” provided it is in the drop box before the Clerk’s Office opens on the business day following the due date.  If a receipt is required or requested, one will be mailed to you the following morning.*
